What You Told Us About The 2011 Day of Service!

We asked the more than 400 volunteers who gathered at the Unitarian Society of Germantown to honor the legacy of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a worship service on Monday, Jan. 17, 2011, for a few words to describe their experience. Their responses are above.

After the service, the overflow crowd fanned out across the region to take part on the Day of Service, "a day on, not a day off." The USG group took part in 26 projects, from Center City Philly to Pottstown.

The organizers wish to thank those who participated, and those who donated to make the event a success.
